To put it mildly, I've gone gaga' cleaning and rearranging the past two days! I'm just taking a bit of a breather from all the huffing and pushing and dragging of furniture I'd been doing since early this morning. There will be lots more dragging and huffing as the days roll by till the weekend.
My new pretty sofa set is due to be delivered Saturday.*Excited! *Excited! I'm trying to imagine how best to snuggly' and comfortably make everything blend.
Oh, but in case you're wondering, that is NOT my house in the pic above, haha! Dear heavens, no! That beautiful homey' belongs to my neighbor...all these pics are my neighbors..
My dig is a lot humbler..but fun..always with soft flickering lights...always with the sound of jazz or classical music ...always with the joyful yelps of a pooch barking and boys laughing...and me squealing to please pick up this and that....Always with pots and pans needing to be washed from endless cooking...
I live near this home. Every afternoon I walk through this gentle street often littered with the soft of pink petals from the lovely bougainvillea.... Summer is almost here...petals galore...I'll make sure to take a pic someday soon when it does.
Yes, this is my neighborhood...I love it here....

By American standards, that's a pretty swanky looking neighborhood. How much more modest could your digs be?
ReplyDeleteThat sure does look like a great neighborhood. I like the way you are so down to earth. We are pretty much down to earth and stay at homes. Life is good. Take care and have a great Thursday. Nice area.
