Gratefulness Friday

It was Alison of Mettaville who thought this up. I jumped on board because I I knew that writing about the simplest good stuff about the week that was would always result to a feeling of contentment. I started my first "Grateful Friday" post at my FB page, but today I'm housing this here.

Way past bedtime, actually, and I ought to snooze but figured I should take a moment to take stock of something, anything I can be thankful for before this week comes to a close.

Let me see...I'm thankful...

1. that this week is finally over. As in OVER, done with, ta ta'....!

2. that finally, my files and precious photos had been salvaged from my deceased laptop.

3. that I have reconnected with a a couple of lady friends via FB and now look forward to having coffee with them next week.

4. that I will soon be meeting a special blogmate from Malaysia...

5. that the process of both my son's college enrollment has been accomplished..whew!

6. that we were able to pay every single expense to the dot...( veeery grateful)..

7. that it rained....

8. that my hubby is now home...

9. that he brought me 3 flowering plants...( I just hope that when I re-pot them they don't wilt or dry up or gawd' even die!)

( nine is a lucky number..I think I'll end there..)

  3. Hello Prism,
Thank you for reminding me to remember the things I should be thankful for. Most often instead of looking at the good things in my life, I look at the parts I am unhappy with.
Wishing you a very nice Sunday,
    Lydia

  5. I'd say those are things to be thankful for. I see you're spending more time on FB, lately. Hmmm.
