Flowery Happy

My dear friends,
For some unfathomable reason I woke up happy!
Not the regular happy but the giddy kind. I opened my eyes, took in the sight of my light green curtains and slowly smiled. I was happy!
Such a precious feeling of light and free and being as if ten again.

Do you remeber being ten? A rather a long way off to being 41. When I was ten, I couldn't imagine me being 41. I just woke up day after day with this mischievous light pink sparkle of flowery bliss.

I thought I've lost all that. Like a long lost friend, it found me again.
What a dear! I feel restored.

  4. Being ten was a great age for me. I never fathomed the idea of me growing up at all. I knew I would someday but I lived in the moment as most kids do.
I have been making an effort to recapture that feeling and it has been going good so far.
    What a pretty flower.

  5. Lovely, happy, giddy post! To be ten is to be free of burdens, free of adult responsibilities, to have very little past to burden you, to have no worries about the future. What a joyfully free and unburdened time. Live now, in the present, like an ocean wave or a flower.

Your light green curtains sound like such a pretty sight to open your eyes to. I open mine to the liquidamber tree outside my window. :-D
