Lady Prism's Kitchen

It's not as fancy as a blogger blog but it will do.

For some time now I had been toying with the idea of a place to house my humble cooking projects. Nothing extravagant or five star ( or any star for that matter)  material. Just my plain home-style cooked meals served everyday. No, I don' t think it's going to be an applauded archive of wealthy secret recipes worth acclaiming.  My  purpose is to inspire myself by jotting down some of the delicious things I whip up.

Cooking can be such a hyped affair with the proliferation of celebrity chefs, cooking shows and famous blogs!  Thing is, it can be dull and tiring when you're actually expected to do it everyday. There are days in fact when I don't think even my pooch would dare taste my concoction. Twenty years married now, thank goodness those days have come far in between.

Then there are the happy days when I have a bit of victory sizzling something really yummy. So inspiring and filled with love. I will write only of those days lest I forget. Funny, I don' t think my memory is as sharp as it should be. Sometimes this worries me.

Clicking the link above will lead you to my kitchen. I've set a plate that's just for you.

  3. I'll definitely go there after this! It's funny that after a while in marriage or motherhood, no matter how untalented we are in cooking, we'll finally find ourselves comfortable there..I have another 10 years to reach your stage!

  4. Hi there ladies! Welcome to my
(cyber) kitchen! Help yourself, Alison. I was probably in the garden when you came in, hehe!

And thanks a lot, Rose. Nothing fancy really. Sometimes I manage a good one and would like to repeat the whole thing one day again but find myself forgetting exactly how I did it at first. Hopefully, this bloggy will help me archive everything. :)

Hliza: I remember my first few years of marriage as being a bit of a comedic disaster in the kitchen. You're right, one does learn.:)
