Prism Fengshui

Dear friends,

Devoid of energy! That's how I feel when I see and pass through dark corners. They seem to be wormholes of ominous vibes. Passing through one  feels like sucking in trapped karma.  Do you believe places and spaces have residual energy from what transpired there in the past? I do.

Some places can have such a positive feel to them. A tansformation occurs and you feel light, happy and awashed with vigor. Likewise, there are places that infuse melancholy, confusion or irritation. You can just feel a venomous black widow gloom creeping into your veins. Spaces like this need healing. A little sensitivity, care and light will do the trick.

I want every bit of space, every nook and cranny, every sad shadowy corner of my home lighted up. Not blindingly, no no! Just bright tones that invite energy and  fun, or soft glows that give out serenity and  calmness. Natural sunshine shinning in through open windows is ideal. Nothing beats the beauty of  prismed rays touching base and warming floors.  Unfortunately, my present bungalow is designed with much less than the ideal. It is square and sharply angled towards the kitchen and hallway. I am a curvy person and would much rather have my entry ways in soft curves.

The window in my living room? Well, that's the major source of light in the mornings. There's another smaller  one at the right side wall. That's it. Not enough. I want WINDOWS! Huge almost floor to ceiling ones if you may. Or french doors that open to my mini-garden up front.

Inspite of what it lacks, I am deeply grateful for the safety of this home. I'm grateful for the nice neighborhood and the peace of this community. I'm grateful for the lush trees and the pretty plants I see as I take my afternoon walk.

And having to make do with what I have right now, I know I'm making progress. My walls are happy, the curtains control the amount of bright that comes in. There is still that darkish hallway I have to contend with though.  Perhaps' more lantern like lampshades...insence burners and citronella sticks to light sleepy corners....

more windchimes for my garden....

Love and Light!

as far as that dark hallway ...
everything else would seem lighter compared to it.
perhaps lampshades can help solve the dilemma.

  3. I sooo agree with you about spaces and their energy. A room where angry words took place can feel angry, just a room filled with a child's laughter can feel bright and sparkling.

Have you ever done any space clearing? I do that each New Year's Eve, focusing especially on the corners where energy gets sticky and trapped; you can feel it's guckiness when you do space clearing. Those dark corners and hallways need that cleansing so they can feel bright and open again.

I also hang a couple of prisms in my windows. I love to watch the colors and flashing light dance around the room. As Lady Prism, you might want to try some, too!
