Yes, I smiled a smile I haven't smiled a long time since long ago. I smiled a smile that didn't carry any weight or worry or thinking about the past or the unseen future.
I smiled a smile that held nothing but gratefulness for the afternoon sun and the love beside me and the errand we did. I smiled a smile for yesterday and today knowing somehow more smiles are to come the morrow and the next day and the next till the end of this year brimming over to the next and the next.
I smiled a smile that I gave to myself knowing that I am good and nice and can most certainly create what pretty in life suits me best. I smiled a smile that accepted and welcomed the company of the unseen divine..that hand that held mine since the immortal of time...I smiled a smile...knowing what life...my life is finally all about.

" When it's over, I want to say:
all my life I was a bride married to amazement.
I was the bridegroom,
taking the world into my arms"
~ Mary Oliver

ReplyDeletethank you for your compliment on my studio. It is slowly being transformed into a lovely place. I made those curtains two years ago from a shower curtain. I loved the pattern in the fabric. I painted the walls a year ago. Maybe this will become the year of organization for it! lol!
