Is It Summer Yet?

I'd say summer vivaciously ushered itself in last week. It's near sweltering and March isn't even here just yet.

I'm so thankful that I don't live in the inner city. The subject of relocating at the heart of the business district itself was broached last weekend. I live a mere 20 minute drive to there, you see.  And yes,  I know to actually live in the belly of city itself would hold  a lot of advantages. It would be cool to just take the elevator down and cross the street to the fancy coffee shops, cinemas, high end boutiques, bookstores, just everything nice... I'd be where all the action is.

Thing is...I can't see myself living in a condominium unit! Cramped expensive space. What about my potted plants? What about the birds I hear in the morning? And my poodle. What of my noisy bark mad poodle???

I love my mornings waking up to bird songs. And the afternoons hearing bird songs once again is soothing. And when things get too humid hot, it's easy to take a bit of a drive to a cool place where the weather is always mild and the breeze blows cool. See that house up there? That's where it is. That isn't my house by the way. Wish it were tho'..haha!

Right now I need a cool drink...will be cooking dinner as well...Take care...

  2. I'm still waiting for Spring:)
I don't think I would ever want to live in a condo ~ couldn't afford it for one thing. They are still rebuilding condos down here after Katrina ~ right on the beach, just waiting for another storm to carry them away...
    ~ Have a wonderful weekend!
